Autumn explorers on the move – little researchers discovering the colorful season
Autumn has arrived at the nxt generation company kindergarten – bringing with it countless exciting moments to marvel, explore and get creative. Over the past weeks, the children have experienced this colorful season with all their senses.
During a walk through the surrounding area, the children collected colorful leaves, which were later laminated and displayed on the windows – bringing autumn right into their group room. The little researchers also got creative with tools: with the support of the educators, they used a cordless drill to make holes in chestnuts and created a vibrant autumn garland.
A special highlight was the visit to the pumpkin farm: each child was allowed to choose their own pumpkin, which was later used to decorate the group rooms – together with acorns, leaves and pinecones. Along the way, the group even encountered alpacas and had the chance to observe them up close – a special experience for everyone.
To conclude the autumn weeks, the children are creating a large autumn tree together in the group room. With every leaf, every pinecone and every idea, their shared joy of discovery grows – in the spirit of our motto: “Play is the highest form of research.”
