Preparation with heart and purpose: Our team immerses itself in the world of play
Before the first children start at the nxt generation company kindergarten, the entire team has been deeply engaged with the educational play and learning concepts that will shape everyday life in our kindergarten. In shared workshops, ideas were explored, materials discovered and concepts brought to life – always with the aim of preparing the very best for the children.
The goal is to understand the games from the children’s perspective – to spark curiosity together, nurture creativity and recognize play not merely as a pastime, but as a valuable learning experience.
Learning through play – supporting development with purpose
The play and learning concepts have been carefully selected to address different areas of development:
Dice Concept
In this playful approach, children develop a basic understanding of mathematics – they build a sense of numbers, quantities and shapes while also strengthening their spatial awareness.
KuKo Construction Concept
This concept focuses on experimenting, constructing, mechanics and open-ended play. It offers a wide range of play variations, leaves plenty of room for creativity and appeals to multiple age groups. Children learn through hands-on action: they build, arrange and experiment with balls, rings and beams – discovering shapes, colors, quantities and mechanical relationships.
“Build Something” Concept
Whether using large or small building blocks, children strengthen both gross and fine motor skills, experience moments of success and discover how ideas can grow into little constructions.
Movement Concept
Movement makes you strong! Through targeted exercises and free movement games, children strengthen body awareness, balance and a sense of teamwork.
A strong team for strong children
In addition to exploring the play concepts, team development was also a central focus. Together, the team reflected on the educational goals and core values of nxt generation and worked toward a shared understanding of collaboration and communication. This shared foundation strengthens not only the quality of our educational work but also our team spirit – the best basis for a successful start with the children and their families.
