Creative, cheerful, colourful: World Children’s Day at Kita nxt generation

To mark World Children’s Day, things got especially colourful and cheerful at Kita nxt generation. Together with their teachers, the children gathered in a circle and explored the occasion in an age-appropriate way. In Germany, World Children’s Day is celebrated annually on 20 September and draws attention to the rights and needs of children.

A particular highlight was singing the children’s rap together. Full of joy and enthusiasm, the children joined in and sang along.

The day then became creative: during face painting, the children were able to transform into different characters - whether an ice queen, Spider-Man, a tiger, a butterfly, or a design of their very own. Bright colours and imaginative motifs created lots of smiling faces.

The teachers had also prepared suitable activities and content to help the children understand World Children’s Day and its importance. This made the day a lovely shared experience filled with music, creativity and happy moments.
